About the Kimberton Community Fair

The Kimberton Community Fair began in 1929, the same year the local fire company was chartered. Originally established as a fundraiser, the Fair helped support the volunteer fire department’s fire truck and equipment needs. With only two exceptions—one year during World War II and again in 2020 due to the COVID‑19 pandemic and widespread event shutdowns across Pennsylvania—the Fair has been held annually ever since.

For 96 years, the Kimberton Community Fair Committee has proudly brought the annual Kimberton Fair to our community. an event rooted in tradition and built through generosity and involvement of our community. This cherished fair continues to bring people together each summer, creating connections, celebrating local organizations, and strengthening the fabric of our communities.

The Fair operates as its own 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the strong commitment to keeping the Kimberton Fair alive and thriving.   The planning committee is excited to be expanding its reach by partnering with other non-profit organizations in 2026, helping to ensure the Fair truly represents and serves the entire community.

Our Fair is not just another amusement park…the added attractions of agricultural and home art exhibits, fun-filled contests, and livestock shows make it a unique event. It is one of the few places where you can bring your whole family and find something to please everyone!

As Kimberton Community Fair begins it 97th year, it continues with a tradition of volunteerism, hard work and dedication – a tradition we hope will be continued for years to come.
