The Kimberton Community Fair concluded
its 2007 event on July 28. We would
like to thank all our volunteers, exhibitors, vendors and the patrons for another successful
Fair.
Thanks to the support of so many (and
some good weather!), our Fair revenue exceeded that of 2006.
The net profits will be donated to the volunteer Kimberton Fire Company to benefit
their equipment and training needs.
The task of putting on this event is
a monumental one. We are
staffed completely by dedicated volunteers from the Fire Company, Auxiliary and the community.
Long hours, labor intensive work, and hot July temperatures can all be obstacles.
But we were blessed this year to have an increase in volunteers who came with a willing
spirit to be part of this traditional event.
And their efforts helped us to produce a great event.
We now begin the process of
planning for the 2008 Fair. We look
forward to seeing you and your family next year!
