Fair Royalty Visits Local Turkey Farm
We are thankful to Howe Turkey Farm for giving our Fair Royalty a tour of their local farm-to-table operation. They are a proud third-generation family farm located in Downingtown, Chester County dedicated solely to raising over 4,500 turkeys from July through November. They work morning ‘til night making sure the turkeys are healthy and well-cared for. The Royalty Program focuses on promoting Kimberton Community Fair and local agriculture. It provides each participant the opportunity to build and enhance her personal development including confidence, poise, presentation and public speaking skills, and knowledge about their community and Chester County’s $600 million-dollar agricultural industries.
