2008 Competitive Exhibits

Welcome to our Fair catalog of competitive exhibits.  For over 35 years our fair has been the showcase for some of the area's best agricultural products and home art projects.  We are continually grateful for the community interest and support that has kept this important program going.  Each year we solicit feedback from our exhibitors, our judges and local experts on how we can update and improve.  Below is a summary of the changes we will be implementing for 2008.  We hope you'll take a moment to familiarize yourself with this year's catalog.

        Updated rules for the Blue Ribbon Apple Pie, Angel Food Cake and Hershey's Cocoa Classic baking contests
        New categories for our Quilt contests, and a Best of Show prize courtesy of Chester County Quilting, Phoenixville

All entries must be pre-registered.  Entry Tags will still be mailed to exhibitors prior to check-in day.  The nominal Fees charged to non-livestock exhibitors having 10 or more items (to help defray our mailing costs) remain the same as last year...unlike the prices at the pump!!

With the skyrocketing prices of gasoline these days, we realize that people will be limited in the vacation plans that they can afford.  So why not visit a great community event that's right in your own backyard?  This will be Kimberton Fair's 80th year of providing family entertainment.  What sets us apart from other local carnivals and festivals (besides our donuts!!) is that we partner with the PA Department of Agriculture to offer contest and display opportunities in the areas of farm products, gardening, baking and canned goods, floral arranging, needlework, crafts and photography.  Our exhibitors can be part of a traditional country fair, and possibly even win a ribbon and cash prizes!!  If you or someone you know has talent in these areas, then we encourage you to get involved in our competitive exhibits.  We hope to see YOU at the Fair!!
